The boy and his animals   The farm was a place of wonder. Digging in the stack yard he found the bones of animals: cats, dogs, pigs and goats.   He kept the bones in boxes, laid them out on special days. He made the shapes of bodies and he thought them into life.   Such hybrids had never before been seen on Earth.
